"Had my eye on this store after walking past it all week, and made it a point to go in. The owner, Luke, was nothing short of phenomenal. I initially walked in to admire the swords, and he was quick to let me pick them up and tell me all about them. This led to a longer conversation, during which he pulled out a total of 10 or so blades for me to try, even though I said I was just perusing. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic -..."
"We found this well stocked and highly professional knife shop during a visit to Estes in May. Luke, the owner, is a really knowledgeable and friendly young man. I've been in great knife shops in several major cities, and Luke's inventory and expertise put him in that group. We had a fun conversation about several interesting knives. I'm not an expert, I just like the look and feel of high quality, well designed knives that serve a practical ..."
"We had such a nice visit. I'm guessing it was the owner (?) talked to my husband about Forged in Fire which made my husband so happy. My teenage son had his eye on a butterfly comb (not a knife) after one of the workers showed him how to spin it. We ended up taking the butterfly comb home with us, and my son has been on YouTube every day since then learning how to do tricks with it and showing his friends. (I'm scared he's going to want the knife..."
"Blades is hands down one of the best knife stores I’ve ever visited. It’s a family run shop, and you can feel the heart behind it the moment you walk in. The son is incredibly knowledgeable he really knows his stuff and takes the time to answer questions without making you feel rushed or overwhelmed. His mom is just as fantastic. She’s warm, welcoming, and treats everyone like family. The selection is great, with a range of quality blades at fai..."

"I got a sword cane here probably 15 plus years ago. It still works high quality. I flew in this time when I went to Estes from Denver airport so couldn't really get a lot of sharp knives and things along those lines But if I was driving or had other options I may have considered that but was a really cool shop back then stepped in the other day and it was still really cool and nice collection of sharp shiny toys"
"Great shop. Went there and my son was able to find a great looking knife. I looked around band chatted with owner, super nice. I went to another knife shop the next day just to check out their inventory and prices and I can say that Rocky Mountain Knife Co. was hands down the better shop. Price was better and customer service was great."
"The stainless steel damascus knife and hatchet I bought from here both rusted within a year of purchase and when the rust was removed so was the supposed damascus pattern. DON'T BUY THERE DAMASCUS THESE BLADES SUCK."
"I love this place. I think I have to many knives but you can never have enough. This is my go to knife shop. The people here are very helpful and nice. They are priced very well and honest."

"Picked up a Microtech OTF from this place about a month ago. I could hang out in a place like this for hours! Really cool store with a great selection of entry level to premium brands. The guy working behind the counter was knowledgeable and fun to talk blades with. Prices are actually very competitive with the online market. For my money, I’d much rather visit a place like this and handle the knives in person before I buy. 10/10"
"This one is a total go. We went in on opening on a Sunday morning. The fella who opened up looked to be a bit hungover but hey people gotta live like they want too and I accept that. Looked around and found a good looking affordable Boker knife. Then I saw a ZT that I fell in love with and got it. The range of brands is really good here. They don't have the full offering of every product line which is understandable in today's manufacturing land..."
"Was excited today to find a special souvenir for my husband. Walked in and told the associate that my husband loves knives and that I didn't know much. Could he recommend something special? He said "Well I don't know your husband ma'am." So I had to dig a bit more and asked for maybe locally made products, he pointed to the back, I glanced at the case and left. The store was not busy and he made zero effort to help me narrow down any choices. I w..."
"Absolutely love it. Just got a Katana from there today, and it’s amazing. I got a hunting knife a couple years back from their, and it still works great. Their employees are incredibly helpful, super nice and humorous. They are always open to help you and answer all your questions thoroughly and completely. Love it there. They also got a bunch of more exotic weapons like Halberds and even Sting from the Hobbit. Absolutely amazing there, and would..."
