"Mike did an excellent and exceptional job on sharpening one of my “safe keeper” knives that I wanted to have sharp as razor. Although I was experiencing challenges in sharpening it myself, for a very reasonable price, Mike hand sharpened it and made it razor blade sharp. He exceeded my expectations. I definitely will be coming back to Mike for more of his services. No question about that. Last, I very much enjoyed talking with him pre and post..."

"Mike does excellent, quick work for a very affordable price! About once a year I basically hand him seven knives wrapped in a hand towel, and it's always surprising just how much better they are when I get them back (and much more professionally wrapped). Super easy to park on the street, drop them off, pay for the estimate, and then pick them up within a few days. He's super knowledgeable so he's also a great person to ask about buying this knif..."

"Mike Billings did an AMAZING job on this blade. My old knife, which was a gift, broke. I looked far & wide for a knife maker, I even called people in California, the other side of the country. I was close to donating a perfectly good bladehead to a friend to add to his toolbox, but reconsidered & sent the bladehead to Mike. In a few short weeks, he sent me this folder knife. I was so happy to see my bladehead attached to this new creation. As a ..."

"I am a head cook of competitive barbecue team. With that being said presentation is one of the biggest categories for competition. It’s because of Mike, that I’m able to compete at the highest level. I have used him no less then 3x and plan to hit him to today. He gets my knives so sharp they take the collagen off chicken skin with ease and I can slice ribs in one shot to avoid shredding. I can’t suggest him enough. I’ve sent 2 ppl to him already..."

"My boyfriend and I recently attended a knife making class at Indy Hammered Knives and it was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The workshop itself is amazing and well-equipped, providing the perfect setting for a day of hands-on craftsmanship. James was not only highly skilled but also incredibly passionate about the art of knife making. His expertise and guidance made the..."

"James and his team are stellar. My kids bought me the first knife making class for my birthday and it was a perfect present. The two-day working class was informative and absolutely hands on. Which I loved. I walked away with a fine knife that I made with my hands and their tools. The small class size and in-depth knowledge create a perfect opportunity to really dig into the craft. If you love using your hands and love to learn how to make thing..."

"If I could give a single six-star rating to one business and only one on all review platforms combined, I would give it to Indy Hammered Knives. My wife and I took the two-day knife smithing class and had a great experience. The team at Indy Hammered Knives was friendly, accommodating and mindful of everything that went on. The environment was relaxed and structured and I’ve never seen those both accomplished to the same effect anywhere previ..."

"If you're interested in Blacksmithing, Knife Making or both, you owe it to yourself to take a class at this location. I've taken both classes here and had a great time with both of them. I happened to get Josh as my instructor both times and I think he does a great job and certainly an asset to the company. I really like the way they teach here: Illustrate Demonstrate Imitate They are never far away if you have any concerns or questions but a..."

"FANTASTIC customer service. I live in FL. Got my first set of knives when a college kid sold me them. 4 years later I had one of my girlfriends visiting and she brought my knives back home with her and dropped off at this local store. They sharpened them for the first time ever and those that were too bad off, they even replaced for FREE!. I was shocked and love that they answered all our questions and were so quick to handle our knives. My ..."

"I purchased Cutco knives in the Indianapolis store. Absolutely the worst knives I’ve owned in 48 yrs of marriage. I cannot keep them sharpened. And the handles, while beautiful, are impossible to hold on to if your hands are even a bit damp, let alone greasy!! Only one I like is the serrated cheese knife. I would return them if I could!!"

"While in Indy for our 10th anniversary, I stopped in just to get the Super Shears. Have had many kitchen scissors over the years and you just can’t clean them properly because they can’t be taken apart. Anyways, went in to the store and I had the undivided attention of both sales associates as I was the only one in the store. Long story short went in for one item walked out with 4 new pieces to add to the two I already had. The quality of the kni..."

"Great customer service! Greg is wonderful to work with, always professional and helpful! Most of my Cutco is almost 30 years old and still in great shape due to their sharpening service. I recently brought some of my mother-in-laws in for sharpening and was amazed when I picked them up! Hers are probably 65 years old and have the original wooden handles. Not only did they sharpen them (and replace one that had a broken tip), they polished up the ..."

"I bought a vintage knife for my husband from Heritage knife works and he flipped out! It was incredible and wasn’t real expensive either. We couldn’t believe it was 85 years old! Plus they donate to wonderful charities so it was just a wonderful experience! Thank you Jim!"

Ky Lando

"Great experience very professional in meeting me around the holidays . I recommend highly to anyone dealing in knives"

Randall Rodgers

"They repaired several of my grandpa’s old knives and they came out great! They looked like they did when grandpa used them when I was a little boy. Best part, price was great too!"

"Visited the store at Keystone Mall wanting to get a Wusthof knife and inquire about knife sharpening services. Spent some time in the knife section of the store and was entirely ignored by staff who seemed fixated on other tasks but hardly any of them was tending to customers, maybe just one in the entire store. Needless to say, not going back. I will try my luck and visit another store in the area or go to Sur Le Table at Clay shops."

"I've always loved Williams Sonoma products in the past, but after my experience at this store, I will never shop there again. We wanted to buy a few big items and saw that they have a 10% back reward if you get a WS credit card. So we did that, purchased the items on the card, and everything was good. Months go by and we did not receive the rewards, so I called and customer service told me I had to handle it through the store since that's where t..."

"The point of sale system online is terrible when trying to purchase using visa gift cards. I tried to grab the cupola flatware set while it was on sale and the system would not work. My card was activated and loaded so I tried it as a gift card and as a credit/debit, nothing worked and I had to leave for an event. Upon my return home, I tried a few more times, only this time, it wouldn’t ship to my location. The next day I contacted customer serv..."

"Williams sonoma has been a nightmare to deal with and don't recommend anyone to purchase anything from them. I recieved a gift from my husband and wanted to exchange the same item for a different color (it was a stub pan). I went in the store on December 11th thinking it’s going to be quick process and i’ll be on my way. They informed me they will have to initiate a return and to do an exchange they have to process an electronic gift card that I ..."
