"They saved me in the middle of a time-sensitive project! If you've ever tried to cut chiffon with dull shears, you know how dire the situation was. Liza got me in and out in minutes -- less than 12 hours after I emailed looking for an appointment! -- and now my shears are gliding with precision again. Thrilled at how fast and easy this was, compared to the other options of waiting for a sharpener to come to a sewing shop or sending them off to th..."

"Really amazing on all fronts. I messaged them yesterday morning (Sunday), and they said I could stop by anytime. Sharpened all my kitchen knives (Shun). They said it might be about an hour, and I got a text that everything was ready 30 minutes later. Tried the knives last night, and they are cutting like they are new."

Sajo Van De Weerd

"Huge selection of high-quality kitchen gear. Store is well organized and easy to navigate. Online site doesn't have the best UX, but they do offer BOPIS which is nice if you know what you want and don't like parking in the Strip. Excellent selection of high-quality kitchen knives and sets as well as sharpening services. If you live in Pittsburgh and want to get a quality knife, In The Kitchen is the place you want to go!"

"Cool stuff, super fun to browse and very reliable if you need a less common cooking tool last minute. Also a great store if you’re a visual person and want to see something before you buy it, especially with fancy cookware and gadgets. To me, prices are hit or miss though, some stuff is marked up while some stuff is more competitively priced. But I’m glad they’re there so I’m happy to pay for convenience. I like that they had samples of some gadg..."

Cami Barnes

"They offer knife sharpening services and they're very good at it. Selection here is excellent - you will find something you've been missing. And I don't mean useless kitchen trinkets, I mean real useful kitchen tools. I didn't know how badly I needed a silicone dough scraper until I found them here."

Kate Ceraso

"Very nice kitchen store, they have high end items as well as basic kitchen items. The store was very busy on a Saturday afternoon. They have lots of interesting kitchen gadgets that I have never seen before. Prices did seem a little bit high on some of the items though. Seemed like some things that you could get at the dollar store were selling for 10x the price. But if you are looking for high end pieces, this seems like the place to go and has ..."

"Store full of kitchen gadgets, tools, and somewhat uncommon ingredients. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable and had answers to most of our questions. For those they don't, they admitted it, and went to look them up. Prices are up there though, so look for sales before shopping."

Tony Mancini

"It's a very nice store with lots of specialty items and I can understand the premium price that comes along with that. But they were asking $350 for an open box KitchenAid stand mixer that can usually be found at Walmart or Amazon for around $250 new. It's boutique store prices even at the clearance section The utensils are high quality, though, and I'm happy with the bench scraper I picked up. All the utensils I looked at seem like good quality,..."

"Made to feel like a criminal for returning an item even though I had the original receipt. Very poor and demeaning customer service. I would imagine this was because the sales associate recognized that I wasn’t from the socioeconomic demographic of their usual clientele."

Hannah Zibert

"The store canceled a large portion of my order without informing me. I understand things go out of stock but a courtesy call, email, or text would have saved me a great deal of frustration and time. And the lack of apology or even acknowledgment was the icing on the cake. The photo is of my holding what I ordered."

"My fiancé and I had a great experience dealing with the Manager, Taylor, and another brunette sales associate, whom I forget her name. Overall the store is great from the selections to the sales associates. We had a few items to return from our wedding registry and Taylor and the other associate assisted us. - 10/10 for customer service and patience with our returns! While customer service was great, I’d give a -10/10 for their return policy. Fi..."

"I was at Williams Sonoma at Ross Park Mall, last night. Williams Sonoma is my happy place. I was asking questions about purchasing an espresso machine. The sales person was helpful at first, but then her attitude abruptly changed. It was as if she had other, more pressing things to do. I was kind of dumbfounded, because every other time I’ve shopped there, the people are so helpful and accommodating. I thought ok, maybe I’ll just come back befor..."

"I tried to buy a cast iron skillet. There was one skillet out that was actually a part of a set, so I asked if they had the other one, because I would buy it as a set or individually. But Taylor told the woman who was helping me to say “We probably have it in the back, but somebody else will buy it” Not sure what the older lady’s name was, but it was Taylor’s call not to sell it to me. I’m not really sure why they wouldn’t sell the set to me. Tay..."
